How to create a YouTube channel
Using your Google account to create a YouTube channel
You may watch, share, and comment on YouTube videos if you have a Google account. Google accounts, on the other hand, do not automatically create YouTube channels. However, setting up a new channel is a straightforward and quick procedure.
1. Sign up for a YouTube account.
Go to YouTube.com and click the'sign in' button in the top right corner:
Then log in with the Google account with which you want your channel to be associated:
2. Go to your YouTube preferences.
Click your profile symbol in the top right corner of the screen, then "Create a channel."
3. Make your own channel
You'll then be given the option of creating a personal channel or a channel with a business or other name. We'll use the "Use custom name" option in this example, which is suggested for small enterprises and brands:
The next step is to give your channel a name.
Note: Creating a new channel name will also create a new Google account with its own preferences and YouTube history, as you can see from the options at this phase. This account is linked to your main Google account and may be managed entirely through Google settings. It's really useful because you can use it to like and comment on other YouTube videos as well as participate in YouTube as your business.
You'll have the option to further customise your channel after this step. You'll find choices for:
Adding a photo to your profile
Adding your channel's description
Custom connections to a website or blog, as well as social links to Instagram or Twitter, can be added to your webpages.
Congratulations! You've just launched your own YouTube channel! 🎉
